When registering your pet for services with Bernie’s Besties, please read our terms and conditions. This document includes our service hours, holiday pricing and cancellation policy.
- Our service hours are Monday – Friday, 6am to 10pm. Outside of these hours, including bank holidays and weekends, services will be charged at time and a half.
- We are closed 4th July, 10th August and the Christmas period.
- We will close for our own holidays throughout the year. The dates of these will be communicated well in advance, and we will try our best to find cover. This may not always be possible, meaning your walks will be halted for that time.
- Bookings for a set block of four will not be refunded if you (the owner) cancels before all four services are used.
- Meet & Greets are mandatory. One will be carried out before commencing any services for your pet.
- We are not insured to work with any dangerous or banned dogs outlined in the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.
- We reserve the right to terminate services if your pet is dangerous, aggressive or disruptive.
- We will be with you on time, however there may be instances where we are 15 minutes too early or late. In instances where we’re due to be more than half hour late, we will let you know.
- In severe weather conditions, such as heavy snow, flash flooding, or red weather warnings, we will make a call on whether to cancel walks. In the instance of walks being cancelled, we will offer drop-in visits as an alternative. Weather-related cancellations may be short notice.
- In extreme heatwave conditions, again, walks will be cancelled, or moved to cooler times of the day. Again, these changes may be short notice. We will also offer drop-in visits as an alternative.
